On Friday morning, Class 11B left school at 6:30 a.m. for a trip to Mount Singgalang. The bus ride took two hours. When they arrived, the students had breakfast at a small restaurant near the base of the mountain. After breakfast, they began a guided hike through the forest. The guide explained the names of local plants, birds, and insects, and told stories about the mountain's history.
At noon, they stopped at a waterfall for lunch. Some students played in the shallow water, while others rested on the rocks and took photos. The sound of the water and the cool air made the place very relaxing.
At 2 p.m., they continued hiking to a viewpoint where they could see the whole valley. The weather was sunny, and the air was fresh. The guide told them about the legends connected to the mountain, including one about a hidden treasure.
Before returning, the group visited a souvenir shop to buy local snacks and handicrafts. They also took a group photo in front of the shop. The bus left at 4 p.m., and they arrived back at school at 6 p.m., tired but happy.
The trip was part of their geography lesson on ecosystems and tourism. Students said they learned a lot about nature and enjoyed spending time outdoors with friends.
