E. HOW A SHIP STAYS UPRIGHT (EXPLANATION TEXT)

A ship stays upright because of buoyancy and gravity. Buoyancy pushes the ship upward, while gravity pulls it downward. When the center of gravity and the center of buoyancy are in line, the ship is stable. However, when cargo is placed too high or unevenly, the ship can tilt and become unstable. As a result, the ship may capsize.
