🇬🇧 ENGLISH TEXT

On a fishing vessel, handling fish properly on deck is essential to maintain quality. The Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) provides clear steps for crew members. First, the catch is immediately washed with clean seawater to remove slime and dirt. Then, the fish is bled by cutting the gills so that blood is drained. After bleeding, the fish is gutted carefully, and the internal organs are removed. Next, the fish is washed again to ensure cleanliness. It is then sorted according to species and size. Small fish are placed in separate containers, while larger fish are handled individually. After sorting, the fish is chilled with ice or cold seawater. Finally, the fish is stored in the refrigerated hold until it is transferred to cold storage.
In this SOP, passive voice is often used to describe the process. For example: “The fish is washed with clean seawater.” This style emphasizes the procedure rather than the person who performs it.

Di kapal penangkap ikan, penanganan ikan di dek sangat penting untuk menjaga kualitas. Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) memberikan langkah jelas bagi kru. Pertama, hasil tangkapan segera dicuci dengan air laut bersih. Lalu, ikan dibuang darahnya dengan memotong insang. Setelah itu, ikan dibersihkan isi perutnya. Selanjutnya, ikan dicuci kembali. Ikan kemudian dipilah berdasarkan jenis dan ukuran. Setelah dipilah, ikan didinginkan dengan es atau air laut dingin. Terakhir, ikan disimpan di palka berpendingin. Dalam SOP ini, kalimat pasif sering digunakan untuk menjelaskan proses.
