🇬🇧 ENGLISH TEXT (SOP – Fishing Gear Maintenance & Storage)

Standard Operating Procedure for Handling Fishing Gear After Operation
After hauling the catch, the crew handles the fishing gear properly. First, all nets and lines are washed with fresh water to remove salt and debris. Then, the crew inspects each net for damages. Tears are repaired immediately using nylon twine. Hooks and swivels are cleaned with a wire brush. After cleaning, the gear is dried under the sun to prevent rust. While the crew is organizing the gear, the deck is being swept by the assistant. Next, the ropes will be coiled and stored in the locker. The fishing nets have been stored properly before the vessel departs again. By following this SOP, the crew ensures that the gear remains durable and ready for the next trip.

Note: This text uses various tenses: simple present passive (are washed), past passive (were repaired? actually "are repaired" is present, but we add example of past later), present continuous passive, future passive, present perfect passive.

🇮🇩 BAHASA INDONESIA (Prosedur Perawatan Alat Tangkap)

Setelah mengangkut hasil tangkapan, kru menangani alat tangkap dengan benar. Pertama, semua jaring dan tali dicuci dengan air tawar untuk menghilangkan garam dan kotoran. Kemudian kru memeriksa setiap jaring untuk mencari kerusakan. Sobekan segera diperbaiki menggunakan benang nilon. Kail dan swivel dibersihkan dengan sikat kawat. Setelah dibersihkan, alat tangkap dikeringkan di bawah sinar matahari untuk mencegah karat. Sementara kru sedang mengorganisir alat, dek sedang disapu oleh asisten. Selanjutnya, tali akan digulung dan disimpan di lemari. Jaring telah disimpan dengan baik sebelum kapal berangkat lagi. Dengan mengikuti SOP ini, kru memastikan alat tangkap tetap awet dan siap untuk pelayaran berikutnya.

Rumus dasar: Active: S + V (sesuai tense) + O → Passive: O + to be (sesuai tense) + V3 + by S

Simple Present Active: Crew washes nets. → Passive: Nets are washed (by crew).
Simple Past Active: The fisherman repaired the tear. → Passive: The tear was repaired.
Present Continuous Active: They are cleaning hooks. → Passive: Hooks are being cleaned.
Future (will) Active: The crew will store the ropes. → Passive: The ropes will be stored.
Present Perfect Active: They have dried the nets. → Passive: The nets have been dried.

✍️ Latihan 1 (JP1-2): Ubah kalimat aktif ke pasif (beragam tense)

Tugas individu/berpasangan: Buatlah sebuah prosedur singkat (5-7 langkah) tentang perawatan dan penyimpanan alat tangkap setelah operasi penangkapan ikan. Gunakan campuran kalimat aktif dan pasif dalam berbagai tenses (minimal 3 kalimat pasif dengan tense berbeda). Topik: jaring, pancing, bubu, atau tali.

Checklist: ☐ Minimal 3 passive voice (berbeda tense) ☐ Menggunakan action verbs terkait alat tangkap (wash, dry, repair, coil, store, inspect, dll).
